GOVERNMENT QUOTA

Eligibility Criteria

A. Admission for First Year B.E. Courses

  • A pass in the HSC academic or its equivalent or in the vocational stream with engineering / Technology vocational subjects or any one or two related subjects like mathematics, physics, chemistry, or any other equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education and Training / Higher Secondary Board of Tamil Nadu / Universities in Tamil Nadu.
  • As regards improvement marks, only the marks obtained in the first improvement can be used by a candidate to his / her advantage in seeking admission. The first improvement examination is the examination taken for the first time by the candidate, either in one subject or more subjects, after passing the qualifying examination.

    • B. Admission for Second Year B.E. (Lateral Entry):

  • Candidates seeking admission directly to the second year are required to have passed the Diploma Examination in Engineering / Technology conducted by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu, or equivalent courses.
MANAGEMENT QUOTA
  • Management quota admissions are carried out as per the guidelines stipulated by the Association of Management of Coimbatore Anna University Affiliated Colleges, Coimbatore. Based on the application form submitted by the student, a provisional allotment order is issued by the Association of Management of Coimbatore Anna University Affiliated Colleges to the student. Further, the student submits the same to the institution, which is subsequently submitted to the Chairman, Committee to regulate and Monitor the Admission of Students to Professional Courses by Self-Financing Professionals, located at the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai. Their approval for the admission of the student is also obtained.
Eligibility criteria
  • A pass in HSC (academic) or equivalent with 45% for general in math, physics, and chemistry, 40% for BC/BC Muslims, MBC, DNC, and SC/SCA/ST
PG ADMISSION
  • The PG admission is also made in two parts, namely, the Government quota and Management quota. The Government quota admission is made through single-window counseling conducted by Anna University, Chennai, on behalf of the state Government through TANCA (Tamil Nadu Common Admission). The Management quota admission is done through the entrance exam conducted by the Association of Engineering Colleges.

  • 2. Transfer Certificate;
  • 3. Conduct Certificate;
  • 4. Community Certificate
  • 5. Passport-size Photos: 4 Nos. * Tuition and other fees prescribed by the college should be paid in full before the stipulated date. * The decision of the management will be final in all matters regarding admission, training, and discipline and will be legally binding on all parties concerned.
