Science Club

Science Club is a dynamic and inclusive organization committed to fostering a love for science among students, educators, and enthusiasts alike. Science Club was established in the year 28.02.2014 in Our College. It offers chance to do science related activities that extend and enhance the science that they experience in the classroom. Through engaging activities, hands-on experiments, captivating discussions, and exciting projects, we aim to empower our members to explore, learn, and grow as budding scientists and lifelong learners.

AIMS OF SCIENCE CLUB:
  • To Encourage students to develop a passion for science by providing engaging activities, discussions, and experiments.
  • To encourage students to think critically, analyze data, and solve problems through scientific inquiry and experimentation.
  • Providing opportunities for students to deepen their understanding of scientific concepts beyond the classroom through hands-on experiments, workshops, and discussions.
OBJECTIVES OF SCIENCE CLUB:
  • Promoting Awareness: Raising awareness about current scientific issues, advancements, and breakthroughs through seminars, talks, and outreach activities.
  • Encouraging innovation and Creativity: Providing a space for students to explore their creativity and innovate through science projects, competitions, and challenges.
  • Service to Society: Engaging in community service projects that demonstrate the practical applications of science and technology to address local or global challenges.
IMPORTANCE OF SCIENCE CLUB:
  • Science clubs will create students in the scientific thinking process and also to develop a scientific and rational attitude.
  • A focus on long term, academically-focused relationships between youth club members and practicing scientists.
  • Science clubs play an important role to integrate better understanding of earth nature and diversity of information sources.
ACTIVITIES OF SCIENCE CLUB:

Students will get opportunities for the following activities:

  • Organize Seminars, lectures, Quiz, debates etc.,
  • Science Day Celebration
  • Holding Science exhibition and fair
  • Conducting Technical and Non-Technical Events
  • Preparing mini projects, charts, science models, postures etc.,
  • Displaying science news.
